Santa Croce registered the biggest win of this round as it defeated Latina 3-1, going 5 points clear at the top and having its chances of going up directly greatly boosted. Great emotions came from Castelfidardo and Città dil Castello. The first swept Cavriago in a crucial game in the race to stay up, while Città di Castello responded with a 3-1 home victory over Bassano. In the southern derby, Gioia del Colle repeated their feat of the first leg, beating Castellana Grotte for the second time this season. Only a very tight tie-break could seperate Roma and Loreto, as the latter were the ones to celerbrate. Still, the point gathered takes Roma within one point of the 8th place, coveted last playoff spot.
Finally Mantova kept its winning streak going. It overcame crema in the fifth set and registered therefore its 7th consecutive win.
