Cuneo wins and joins Macerata in Final

Cuneo had the better of Treviso and made it to the final of the A1 Cup, in which they will fight it out against Macerata, earlier winner of Piacenza. The final will akso be in the PalaFiera gym in Forli, starting at 6pm.
Javier Gonzalez (Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): “It’s been a very important win, against a great team that did everything ti could to make it difficult for us. In the end, we snatched it and tomorrow we’ll give everything we’ve good in our bodies on this single game against Macerata. It will be a special game, a one of a kind”.
Samuele Papi (Sisley Treviso): “We did well to bounce back after a first set that went wrong. Then, we put our heads up and played face to face against a team that won it in the end on a couple of plays. It’s a shame to go out this way”.
