PERUGIA �€� In the 10th round of the A1, Cuneo won the Monday night game in Perugia. The three points of the victory means they move up to fifth place in the league table.
Wout Wijmans was voted MVP of the game as he performed constantly at a high level, just like his teammates Nikolov, a decisive spiker in coach Prandi�€�s team. The middleblockers completed the job, always ready to block the plays of Stokr and co: Fortunato had no less than 7 blocks.
Claudio Sciurpa (Presidente RPA-LuigiBacchi.it Perugia): “We served poorly, the reception was even worst and the block was non-existent. Unfortunately, that made us lose the first two sets. It’s a shame, I really would have liked to finally see a good performance against a great team”.
