Crucial game at the bottom between Padova and Forli
The A1 is back after the All Star Volley. As usual, the action starts on Saturday with Padova versus Forli, a game between teams of the low part of the table fighting for important points to stay up. Padova will try to add a second consecutive win following its first victory of the season and catch up the teams in front.
More thrilling games will come the next day, some are really not to be missed. One above the others: Treviso versus Macerata. This will be Pupo Dall’Olio’s first game in charge , as it substituted Renan Dal Zotto on Treviso’s bench. The game against the league leaders Macerata could be the perfect moment to turn things around. Sebastian Swiderski wants to play this game but he might not be risked.
One that will definitely be out is Brazilian Murilo Endres, who injured his calf at the All Star Volley. The first game he will miss Martina Franca, another tough test for Modena.
Another big is in Pineto’s way: this time Piacenza. Montagnani gets Buti, Dentinho and Jargo back to try to register a hat trick of victory in the league. Possible hat trick also for Piacenza, but of defeats. They will be eager to get back to business summing up points.
The Italian champs of Trentino will meet Montichiari, who has the attacking force of Robert Horstink back to try to upset Trentino.
Vibo Valentia will make a trip in the past against Verona, meeting five ex-players: Sottile, Lasko, Bontje, Dehne and Latelli.
Finally, on Monday night, Perugia will play host to Cuneo.

Bassano vs Latina the big clash
A lot of great fixtures in this 11Th round to come and a derby.
League Leaders Bassano, who created a gap between itself and the followers last week, will meet Latina who will be eager to react after a frustrating tie-break loss. The war of the outside hitters Tamburo and Giobini will be an exciting one to follow. Snai Sat will cover the big derby between Loreto and Castelfidardo. The hosts stopped the bleeding and are now looking to build on the recent win to move up the table. Moretti’s men could go past Bologna, who is rested this week.
Santa Croce versus Gioia del Colle and Mantova versus Isernia are other interesting match ups. Two teams that got back to winning ways last week, Roma and Castellana Grotte will meet. Città di Castello entertains Crema while bottom of the league Catania challenges Cavriago.
