Fiorese bows in front of Castellana with its two great spikers Pascual (14) and Monteiro (13).
Bassano fought only in the second set, at the end won by Castellana anyway, but in the first and in the third set Castellana played much better and did not leave any chance to Fiorese. It should have been the reaction match for Bassano after the 3-0 of last week. Another heavy loss has arrived today. Bassano is still in the 6th position of the standing and this should give to the team good chances to reach the TIM Cup final (the eight teams will be decided after other 2 matches and first 8 team will play the TIM Cup).
It is hard though, to find positive points of this match because really few things did work well in the match played in Castellana. A lot of serves errors for both teams (20 for Bassano and 19 for Castellana) but Castellana scores aces and put Bassano in a bad passing position while Bassano serves never give problems to Castellana passing.
