On the day Andrea Giani entered the Volleyball Hall of Fame, the Italian Volleyball League, in the person of President Diego Mosna wanted to celebrate one of the main figures of Italian volleyball by assisting to the award ceremony in Holyoke, Massachussets. This represents a great satisfaction and a prestigious acknowledgement for Modena’s current coach, an icon for Italian volleyball. Giani is the second Italian player to make it to the Hall of Fame. Indeed, last year, it was Andrea Gardini’s turn to be recognised as one of the best of all time.
