LEONDINO GIOMBINI MARCH TIM MVP
It is Leondino Giombini the TIM MVP for the month of march: in the 3 matches played, Giombini has been elected MVP twice by the journalists present.
Sparkling Milano’s diagonal player will receive the award before the next match on thursday the 3rd of april at 20.30 against RPA-LuigiBacchi.it, a decisive match towards the play offs.
The points scored by the player from Ancona, have allowed Sparkling to stay hookes to the play offs zone, with the 8th place which will be defended in their next two matches of the Regular Season.
FROM FRIDAY IN SESTOLA THE TIM BOY LEAGUE FINAL EIGHT
On friday the 4th of april, in Sestola (MO), the three days of matches worth for the TIM Boy League Final Eight will take off, closing on sunday the 6th with the final which will assign the 13th “Enrico Bazan”‘s Cup.
The tournament, organised byt the Serie A Volleyball League together with the Anderlini School of Volleyball, will involve Under 14 atheletes born in 1994, 1995 and 1996.
The eight teams taking part (the 5th winners of their own pools of the second phase plus the top 3 second), will be divided in two pools of 4. The matches will be played in 3 sets of 25, and each set won will assign one point in the standings.
POOL N includes Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia, Lube Banca Marche Macerata, Bassano Volley and Scuola di Pallavolo Anderlini (MO).
POOL O includes Stadium Mirandola (MO), Sisley Treviso, Robur Scandicci (FI) and Robur Costa Ravenna.
Last year Lube Banca Marche Macerata won the title beating Scuola Pallavolo Anderlini for 2-1 in the final.
