TIM CUP A2 – QUARTER FINALS
VIBO AND CREMA WIN, VERONA FALLS
TIM CUP A2 2008 full of emotions. Tonight the first leg of the quarter finals ended after Olio Pignatelli Isernia’s victory at tie break against Esse-ti Carilo Loreto last wednesday, two more away victories arrived today.
The standings havbe all been respected except in one occasion. In Castellana Grotte, infact, Materdomini Volley.it defeated teh Winter Champions of Marmi Lanza Verona for 3-2.
After the first two sets in favor of the pugliesi, the yellow and blue got even reopening the match to be defeated at tie break for 15-11.
The match between Stilcasa Salento d’amare Taviano and Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia ends at tie break too. Travica’s men got away with it after winning the first two sets then losing the following two. Tonno Callipo won tie break with a net 5-15.
Finally, a success without appeals for Premier Hotels Crema in Catania against SP TTTLines; the final score says it all: 0-3.
The second leg matches will be played on the 7th of february at 20.30.
In case of a victory each (with any set score) the extra set will be played at tie break.
The four winning teams will take part in the Final Four scheduled for the 15th and 16th of March.
