MILANO WILL HOST THE 9TH EDITION OF VOLLEY LAND

For the second year in a row, the 6th one ever, Volley Land will take place in Milan. The event is organised at the Datch Forum on saturday the 1st and sunday the 2nd of march 2008, with volleyball as the only great star. Numerous the volleyball appointments with matches but not only that as per the event’s DNA.
The whole attention will be on the TIM CUP A! Final Four of the Italian Cup, competition which will give the winner the first useful place to the access the Champions League 2008/2009.
The “fun area” will be full of amateurs and minivolley tournaments, a moment when the young ones can get close to the Serie A TIM champions. It will be here that the “rucksack people” will find their main attraction which will be the focus of Volley Land “Fun Area”.
The even will be organised by the Serie A Volleyball League, the Lombardia regional FIPAV committee and Milan FIPAV committe with the region of Lombardia, the city of Milan and the province of Milan.

TIM CUP A1 Final Eight 2007/2008

The quarter finals in Bassano del Grappa

The TIM CUP A1 Final Eight 2008 will start from Bassano del Grappa (VI) again this year. The town will host an important volleyball moment for the third year in a row, following the positive experiences of the TIM CUP A” 2004/05 Final Four and the latest edtions of the TIM CUP A! quarter finals. On the 27th and the 28th of of february 2008 the top eight teams qualifyied at the end of the Serie A1 TIM First Leg, will meet to win the access to the Final Four in Milan.

For the organisation, the volleyball League will be joined by the Società Bassano Volley, the Veneto regional Fipav committee and the province of Vicenza Fipav committee, with the contribution of the town of Bassano del Grappa.
