SERIE A1 TIM
A WEEK FULL OF APPOINTMENTS
Serie A1 TIM is back with three midweek appointments. On wednesday and thursday, infact, three early matches of the 12th round will be played for the first leg which will be completed by the matches on the 26th of december.
The three matches have been anticipated due to some of the players busy with their own national teams at the end of the month for the Olympics qualifying tournaments.
Important challenges, which will have important points at stake for the lower positiions of the standings and to qualify to the next TIM CUP, like for RPA-Luigi Bacchi.it Perugia and Sparkling Milano. For Perugia, still to be verified are diagonal player Jan Stokr’s conditions, who left the fifth set against Modena after a bad dislocation.
Milano, on the other hand, arrives with a precious point obtained in Padova. They are going through a positive phase but they will have to give up on middle blocker Lukasz Kadziewicz who stayed in Milan to treat his back problem which stopped him from playing last sunday.
Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari is playing at home, three days after the unexpected stop against Corigliano. The opponent this time will be Antonveneta Padova; thsi is the 44th match between the two teams. In the previous matches, Montichiari won 25 times, Padova 18.
On thursday, an important match for the lower part of the standings. In Latina, Andreoli will host Prisma Taranto. The pontini, looking for points, will play for safety.
On saturday and sunday, the 11th round of the 1st leg will be played regularly.
