IN BOOKSTORES “THE GAME OF THE SPIKES”
Out by “Calzetti & Mariucci”, “The game of the spike”, book about volleyball technique written by Ilario Bonandi, together with Serie A Volleyball League. The book came out with a DVD, and can be purchased also on www.calzetti-mariucci.it
The main topic, with a part dedicated to the jump serve, and to the defenses, is the spike and the book wants to get young people closer to the world of Volleyball. Ilario Bonandi with this book allow the Coaches to create the ideal conditions to present these very important parts of volleyball in a easy way for the people who decided to get an interest in this sport.
The method consists in a series of technique-tactical exercises through mini-matches to be organized with different rules, still having clear the first rule: “The ball must not touch the ground and never stop”, hard rule to follow for the rookies, and will give the chance to create a involving athmosphere since the first day and will allow to base a lot of exercises on the “spike”. The target is anyway the chance offered to the boys to actively partecipate to the Game of the Spike with simple rules well decided by Bonandi and based on his very long experience.
