Taranto: After Trento arrives Piacenza. Prisma Taranto played a good game and conqueres its 5th point. Copra Berni Piacenza still with the same problems of the match against Montichiari. Dall’Olio tried also to replace some players but without success.
The Challenge starts without Anderson for Taranto and Cardona for Piacenza both injured.
MVP of the Match: Felizardo.
THE MATCH: Great start for Prisma with Granvorka and Castellano. Piacenza pays a bad passing (Marshall 17%). Only Marshall and Zlatanov (8 points total) resist. Prisma scores 72% in attack: breaks 7-4 first, 12-7 after and 20-14, until closing the set in its favour.
Copra Berni tries to react and tries also Cardona but Taranto scores again the first break 12-8 and 14-12. Valdir replaces very well Anderson; and Granvorka spikes really hurt Piacenza defense. Taranto goes 19-14 and closes also the second set in its favour.
Down two set, Piacenza tries to react: Grbic and two Granvorka attack errors send Piacenza ahead 10-9. Di Pinto replaces Castellano with Patriarca, but Piacenza is still leading 13-10 and 16-14 at the second time out. But Taranto recovers until the 24-24 and the final victory.
