Copra Berni Piacenza played a hard match: Marshall, awarded before the match as best spiker of Season 2005-2006 by the Serie A Volleyball League, is injured and replced by Cruz.
Bad Start for Piacenza and Gabeca closes the first set 21-25 also thanks to De La Fuente that replaces Veres. In the second set Copra Berni plays better ando dominates Montichiari by winning the set 25-15. But Gabeca reacts in the third set and even if the set is close until the end is Acqua Paradiso that close it 25-23. In the fourth set Dall’Olio tries to use also Dunnes but Gabeca wins the set 21-25 and close the match.
