A NEWS FOR THE NEXT SEASON: A WHITE LINE ON THE COURT FOR THE COACHES

On all Serie A TIM courts, starting from the upcoming season,  there will be a white line that will keep players in the court and coaches separated during the match.
A new line will be drawn close to the court. 175cm far from the court line.  That line will be like a border that coaches cannot pass when they need to talk to their players during the games.
This decision has been taken in order to avoid that the coaches disturb the defensing game during the actions and to allow a better TV view.

In the recent history there has been two changings. The first in 1994 when the serving line has been taken off in order to let the players serve from the whole 9 metres line.  In 1998 then, coaches could stand up to talk with the players and referees started to use the 3 metres line as border for the coaches.
