Savani is back! Cristian Savani will play next upcoming 2017/2018 Superleague season with Top Volley Latina jersey. After a long stint outside Italy, in China, Turkey and Qatar, the italian national team captain at London Olympics 2012 (earning the broze medal), will be back in Superleague.
Savani is now in Sirmione, practicing toward next season: “I’m ready to come back in Italy, I wanted Latina because they have an important project and I know very well coach Vincenzo Di Pinto, we had two great season together in Perugia. I always wanted to come back in Italy, this was my priority in all these years”.
Now Latina, with the extensions of Yuki Ishikawa, Gabriele Maruotti and Carmelo Gitto, and with the adds of Sasha Starovic, Nicolas Le Goff and Cristian Savani, could be the real outsider of next upcoming 2017/2018 Superleague season.
