The last of seven official matches in the month of February gives the men’s Trentino Itas qualification to the semi-finals of the 2025 CEV Cup, confirming the great international competitiveness of Trentino Volley, capable of achieving this goal in four of the five most recent participations in the European cups. The pass to become part of the best four of the second continental competition was obtained this evening at the IL Daily Arena thanks to the 3-0 victory imposed on the French side Chaumont Vb 52 in the second leg of the quarter-finals.
The team coached by Fabio Soli reiterated the technical, tactical and physical superiority that had already emerged in the first leg played a fortnight ago away thanks to a very incisive serve and block, well supported by the attack’s positive evening (56%). Rychlicki (14 points with 61%) and Michieletto (13 with 53%) resolved the few delicate moments of the match, well called into question by MVP Sbertoli. Thanks to the 3-1 obtained in France on 11 February, the European Champions would have been enough to win even just two sets but, having obtained those already in the first part of the match, they then still wanted to give their fans a new victory (the fourteenth of the season out of fifteen home matches played), highlighting those who had not taken the court until then; the ones who shone the most were Gabi Garcia and Magalini (7 points each in the closing set alone) and Pellacani (3) in a very comforting dress rehearsal.

Below is the scoreboard of the return match of the quarter-finals of the 2025 CEV Cup, played this evening at the IlT Daily Arena in Trento.
