First time at the Play Off SuperLega Credem Banca for Cisterna Volley who, in the month of February, consolidated its position, thus guaranteeing access to the post season thanks to the eighth place in the standings at the end of the Regular Season. Behind this result are also the points of Theo Faure, Credem Banca MVP of the month of February: the French opposite hitter, gold medalist at the Paris Olympic Games, has in fact collected two awards as MVP in the last month (in the games won by Cisterna, at the tie-break, against Taranto and Grottazzolina), to which are added the 80 total points scored in the five games played by the Pontine club in February.
The opposite hitter playing for Guillermo Falasca’s team will receive the award during Game 2 of the Play Off Quarter Finals, on Sunday 16 March, which will see Cisterna host Itas Trentino at home. The match is scheduled for 18:00 and will be broadcast on VBTV as well as Rai Sport.
