Another day of technical-tactical training on the taraflex for the Block Devils as they prepare for the last two regular season matches. In this “typical week” a lot of work was done on a “key” aspect, which emerged after Sunday’s home match against Milan: that of aggression, a characteristic that the boys brought out last Sunday, especially in the third set when, trailing by 6 points twice, they were able to get back into the match and take home a partial that now seemed compromised.
«The aggression that was rekindled afterwards is something that we have to carry with us more, because volleyball doesn’t hand us the victory, we always have to go and get it ourselves».

With these words, coach Lorenzetti underlines the need to internalize and strengthen this determination with which to take the field to “go and get” the result. Monza arrives at the Pala Barton Energy on Sunday, with their backs against the wall, after the latest home defeat against Trento. Bottom of the table, with 13 points, they are in full battle with Taranto (14 points) to remain in the top flight.

«They certainly had an unpredictable year – comments Lorenzetti – but that sometimes happens in sport because when you have so many injuries after recovering in the Super League it’s not easy because everyone tries to put their “hands around your neck”. They have the chance to save themselves, the teams that are fighting, Taranto and Monza, are both historic volleyball clubs, there are people we know on both sides.
