Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza informs that the Japanese player Takuma Kawano will join the team from today for a two-month internship in which he will study “Italian volleyball”.
Thanks to the good relations with the JVA (the Japanese Federation), this opportunity materialized for the Japanese opposite in his 3rd year at Sundai Gakuen High School and candidate for the Japan Under-21 men’s national team.
An initiative already undertaken in the past by the Japanese Federation with Chuo university students, which has evidently given good results if now it is the Federation itself that proposes and finances it.
Born in 2006, one meter and 97 centimeters tall, Takuma Kawano will join Waseda University as a training player after the championship. After graduating, Takumo Kawano intends to enroll at Waseda University.
Takuma Kawano: “I’m happy to be in Italy and be able to work with great champions for some time. Other Japanese players have already come to Italy, I want to get to know Italian volleyball, this experience will be very useful for my future, I’m just happy.”
