A special evening in Perugia: yesterday was the National Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, created in 2005 by Rai Radio2 with the Caterpillar broadcast and established by Parliament with Law no. 34 of 2022.
“M’illumino di Meno” is celebrated every year on February 16th to spread the culture of environmental sustainability and resource saving.
And the two Superlega clubs, Sir Susa Vim Perugia and Allianz/Milano, have joined this yhu/initiative together with the Municipality of Perugia, which gave its patronage to the event.
Volleyball symbolically turned off the lights to send a message: embrace together the culture of environmental sustainability and resource saving.
Before the starting whistle of the match, PalaBarton Energy dimmed the lights and the Presidents of the two companies – Sir Susa Vim Perugia Gino Sirci and Allianz Milano – Lucio Fusaro, presented a plaque to the mayor of Perugia, Vittoria Ferdinandi to seal this initiative.
It was just the beginning of a brilliant evening! Because when the lights went up, the show on the pitch came on, with a very tight match that gave the public great emotions: in front of coach Roberto Piazza’s Allianz Milano the Block Devils imposed their game by fighting point for point in moments when the Milanese were taking off.
