On Thursday 20 February, at 8.30 pm, the Bianconeri of Sonepar Padova will face Cucine Lube Civitanova in the second half of the first matchday back. Fresh from the victory against the Modena team, coach Jacopo Cuttini’s team will return to play in front of their fans, aware of the importance of the last challenges of this regular season. The week for the Paduans will be intense, with a busy calendar that includes two close matches in a few days: first the home match against the Marche team, then, on Sunday, the away match in Verona.
In view of the match against Civitanova, coach Jacopo Cuttini first of all underlined the enthusiasm with which the team resumed training after the match with Modena: “We returned to the gym with a lot of enthusiasm. The boys, moreover, always face the week following each match with great determination and with the desire to continue working and believing in our path. After such an important victory like the one against Modena, the energy is sky high.”
On Thursday’s match against Lube, the Paduan coach added: “Civitanova is a team that, as demonstrated by its position in the standings, is experiencing an excellent moment. He has a lot of quality within his sextet, with players we know well, such as Bottolo and Loeppky. We will have to be good at maintaining a good level of ball exchange and trying to put their side-out system in difficulty.”
