For the second consecutive year, a representative of Perugia youth sector took part in the Moma Winter Cup in Modena.
The prestigious international volleyball tournament, now in its fourteenth edition, closed this year with record numbers: 215 teams and 3000 young volleyball players from all over Italy, but also from Europe.
Sir Perugia responded for the second consecutive year by participating this year with the Under17 team, branded Mericat, led by Andrea Moscioni.
Accompanied by the coach and manager Piero Gallinella, the boys experienced three days of full immersion in volleyball, from December 27th to 29th.
«These are tournaments in which we willingly participate – said the head of the youth sector and third coach of Sir Susa Vim Perugia, Andrea Piacentini – to make the athletes compare with other realities, coming into contact with other volleyball clubs not only Italian, but Europeans too. These are opportunities for growth for the kids in which the approach counts more than the result. Participating in these events is very important for us because they are also opportunities for technical growth.”
