This morning, Emma Villas Siena had a pleasant and interesting visit to the University for Foreigners of Siena.
A delegation of players from the white-blue volleyball team met with young students at the university located in Piazzale Fratelli Rosselli. The event was held in a classroom packed with boys and girls, and in the presence of young people from about thirty different countries around the world. Professors Raymond Siebetcheu and Mauro Pellizzi hosted the event, and for the Siena team, setter Thomas Nevot and spikers Alan Patrick Araujo and Soma Masumoto spoke to the students. They were joined by the vice president of the Siena team Fabio Mechini and the marketing and sales director of the white-blue company Vittorio Angelaccio.
The players talked about their work and human experience that they are living in Siena. As foreigners, they talked to many foreigners, telling their life and sporting journey. It was a wonderful opportunity for the many students of the university who came to learn more about the three athletes in the Emma Villas Siena team. The young people asked numerous questions about sports, training, countries of origin and life as an athlete.
It was a cultural meeting, before a sporting one, which ended with photos, autographs, many smiles and the satisfaction of having experienced a pleasant and interesting moment of discussion and mutual knowledge.
