There is an important new addition to the white and blue technical and management staff. Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce that the new Sports Director of the first team is Francesco Dutto, former center and captain of the Monge-Gerbaudo group, competing in the Credem Banca Series A3.
Born in 1991, “Ciccio”, as he is known to everyone in the environment, arrived in Savigliano in 2019, at the height of a rich volleyball career, which saw him play on prestigious courts such as those of Cuneo, where he grew up in the then Bre Banca Lannutti, and Cagliari. He also had an experience in Fossano. In recent seasons he has always been, and continues to be, a pillar and point of reference, on and off the court, of the first Savigliano team, led together with his teammates to the highest points in the now over fifty-year history of the club. Now, the decision to accept the company’s proposal to also cover this new role, very important for the short and long-term future of the club.
Dutto succeeds Corrado Caula in the role of DS, architect of the recent successes of Volley Savigliano, who will remain within the company board, of which he is an essential figure and with whom he shared the decision to “pass the baton” to the captain.
