The Pontini team will have a week’s break (thanks to the A3 Italian Cup) to prepare for the last match of the regular season. The Vidya Virdex Sabaudia, on Sunday 2 March at 7.00 pm, at the Antonio Vitaletti sports hall in Sabaudia, will receive a visit from Energy Time Campobasso, in the match valid for the tenth day of the second round of the A3 men’s volleyball championship. While it will be the last outing for Sabaudia (due to the rest period still to be observed), for the two pursuers still in the running for salvation there will be another day to play: Sabaudia is fourth from last with 21 points, behind them they are chasing Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte (with 19) and Gaia Energy Napoli with 16. In light of the ranking situation, to achieve direct salvation, Sabaudia will have to win by three points with the Campobasso, last in the ranking, and hope that the two pursuers do not take full spoils in the next two challenges.
