The challenge that Consar Ravenna will take on tomorrow evening, at 7pm, at the Porto Viro sports hall for the 18th day of the A2 Credem Banca championship, fifth in the second round (live broadcast visible on VBTV, the platform streaming of Volleyball World and deferred on Tuesday 21st at 3pm on Tele Romagna channel 78, refereed by Marotta Michele from Prato and Marigliano Antonio Giovanni from Turin). Not only because winning again tomorrow would mean for Goi and his teammates to obtain the ninth success in a row and confirmation of the primacy in a round of the championship in which the most direct rivals for first place, Prata and Brescia, compete in Friuli, but also because the team from Ravenna finds itself facing the team it finds most indigestible: that Delta Group which was one of the three to beat it in this championship – 2-3 at Pala De Andrè last October 31st – and which in the previous 5 played in three years it won four times. To make the match more difficult there is also the understandable desire for revenge of a Porto Viro team which has just returned from four defeats in a row, which made it slip from sixth to ninth place, with 22 points, only one of which was won in the return.
