Marko Vukasinovic returns to wear the Consar shirt. Porto Robur Costa 2030 is pleased to announce the hiring of the 31-year-old Montenegrin spiker, already in Ravenna in the 2021/22 season. Today the agreement was signed which binds the player born in Podgorica on 30 July 1993 to the Ravenna club for the final part of the season, with the last three regular season matches, the playoffs and the Italian Cup, which will be played once the championship is over.
Vukasinovic arrived in Ravenna in 2021 after having already acquired significant experience in his country’s championship with his hometown team, Buducnost Podgorica, and then in Switzerland at Biogas Nafels, in Greece at Orestiada, in Serbia at Novi Pazar, and then in Qatar at Al Rayyan, and in Saudi Arabia at Al Hilal. After Ravenna, his career continued in Al Nasr Dubai, in Tursad, in Turkey, in the Police Union in Qatar and in the last year and a half in Al Ahli of Manama in Bahrain where he won the award as best scorer of the Bahrain Men’s Cup. A recognition that adds to the title won in 2018/19 in the Arab Club Championships.
“I have just arrived but I am already very happy about my return to Ravenna – his first words – and for the possibility of having a new experience here and in the Italian championship. For me, Ravenna represents the place where I fulfilled a dream, that of being able to compete in a beautiful and prestigious championship like the SuperLega, and therefore returning here and facing the Italian context once again, albeit in a different category, is very important and stimulating for me.
