Gianluca Loglisci will hardly forget the trip to Ancona. And not only for the victory of Belluno Volley, in four sets. But also and above all because, in the Marche region, the spiker has reached 200 appearances in Serie A: «It is a very important goal, built day after day – says the twenty-six year old originally from Mantua – and with many sacrifices. However, this is an intermediate goal: I hope that this is just a stage of the journey.”
TAPE – Loglisci rewinds the tape of a career which, at least at high levels, took off in the 2017-2018 season: «I remember my debut in A2. I served in the ranks of Aurispa Alessano, in Puglia. And I immediately started: at the beginning I had to deal with the inevitable fears and some insecurity, but these are aspects destined to be overcome with experience. I was only 18 years old, it was understandable to feel a particular emotion.” Emotions which, over time, have changed aromas, shades and textures: «Many matches have remained in my heart. Last year, for example, I was deployed in the opposite role, in Pineto, because the starter was not available. And I played a very good match in front of Brescia, in a particularly “warm” atmosphere.” For the record, Gianluca scored 21 points and contributed significantly to the tie-break success of the Abruzzo team: «This season, however, the best matches I played against Mantua, in the championship, and Acqui Terme, in the quarter-final of the Italian Cup. Furthermore, these two challenges have made us stronger, as a group, and aware of our means.”
