Having remained in Padua to train after the painless defeat in the tie break against Sonepar, the Cucine Lube Civitanova is ready to face its last away match of the 2024/25 Regular Season. With the certainty of accessing the Play Offs as the third seed thanks to the point won in Veneto, Giampaolo Medei’s team will take to the field at the ilT daily Arena tomorrow, Saturday 22 February (8.30pm with live coverage of Rai Sport, VBTV and Radio Arancia), against Itas Trentino for the 10th second leg of the regular season. The hosts, currently at the top with Perugia and engaged in the fight to end the first phase of the SuperLega Credem Banca in command, will play with a knife between their teeth. On the opposite front, despite having no incentives linked to the ranking, the players from the Marche region, with around fifty fans in tow, will try to make up for the fluctuating test played in Padua and achieve a prestigious success on one of the toughest pitches on the circuit. Both teams, however, will have to measure their energy in view of the European cups: on Tuesday 25 February (14 Italian) the Lube will play in Turkey in Ankara for the return of the Challenge Cup Semi-finals, on Wednesday 26 February (8.30pm) the team of Fabio Soli will host the French of Chaumont in the return of the Cev Cup Quarter-Finals.
