An Italian derby with a special flavour awaits Mint Vero Volley Monza and Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia tomorrow evening, ready to challenge each other in the first leg of the CEV Champions League Quarter Finals, in the first of two matches that will give one of the two teams the pass to the Final Four. The appointment is tomorrow evening, Tuesday 11 March, at 20:30 at the Opiquad Arena, with live coverage on Sky and DAZN.
The hosts, who maintained their category by winning the last round of the SuperLega Credem Banca Regular Season, said goodbye to Osmany Juantorena last week (a relationship with the athlete ended), while the guests will have to do without the injured central Roberto Russo, with the Polish Lukasz Usowicz (who already made his debut in Game 1 of the Play Off Quarter Finals) who has taken his place in the roster. This is the first continental match between the two teams, last year protagonists in SuperLega Credem Banca in the Final series that then saw Perugia win the Scudetto.
All the CEV Champions League 2024 matches of the Italian teams will be broadcast in exclusive co-live on Sky and DAZN.
