Cisterna Volley is preparing for an important away match against Itas Trentino, scheduled for Wednesday at 8.30pm at the Il T Quotidiano Arena. The midweek match is the recovery of the first day back and will be the penultimate external match of the Regular Season for the Pontini before closing with the Mint Vero Volley Monza. The team coached by coach Falasca, fresh from four consecutive victories, will face one of the best teams in the championship, undefeated so far in 2025. Historically, the precedents smile on Trento, but Cisterna will try to subvert the predictions.

PRECEDENTS – The outcome of the direct clashes between Cisterna Volley and Itas Trentino is clearly in favor of the Trentino team, who won all four matches played. The last match dates back to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Italian Cup, with Trento victorious 3-1.

Efe Bayram (Cisterna Volley): “The match against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina was challenging. Compared to the first round, they showed greater incisiveness on serve and greater solidity in receiving, managing to express a high-level game. We, on the other hand, had some lapses in concentration, but we were able to regain control of the match in decisive moments. I am satisfied with the team’s progress: the data shows that we won the majority of the tie-breaks played, a an aspect that must give us confidence. Facing Itas Trentino will be an extremely complex challenge, also because it will come a few days after the last match, leaving us little time to recover, but we don’t want to make excuses.
