Beating the competition of all their rivals, last among them Vero Volley Monza in the final, are coach Traviglia’s boys who, in these two days in Veneto, which took place in the Treviso hills on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January, achieved a success after the ‘more without letting go of even one set.
In the qualifying round the rosanero Allianz team of the Diavoli Rosa- Powervolley Milano duo was able to express themselves well and prevail 2-0 against Kosmos, Montecchio Volley and Kione Padova, first place in the group which led coach Traviglia’s boys to play the quarterfinals final against Cuneo Volley, a match that the Pink Devils played to perfection and which they closed 2-0 with the consequent arrival in the semi-final.
Here waiting for the rosanero was Volley Treviso, holder of the title last season and the Italian champion team in the category. With a perfect technical, tactical and character performance, Allianz Diavoli Rosa dictated the law on the pitch, prevailing 2-0 over the Treviso team and gaining access to the Grand Final.
The challenge for the title is an all-Brianza derby between Diavoli Rosa and Vero Volley Monza, winner of their group, the quarter-final against Yaka Volley (2-1) and the semi-final against Trentino (2-0).
