Work continues at full speed under the vaults of the Pian di Massiano facility which next Sunday, February 23rd at 6pm, will host the last regular season home match of the Block Devils, before the closing of the second half of the season, Sunday 2nd March, with all the matches at the same time, and with Sir Susa Vim Perugia away to Piacenza.
The last 6 points are up for grabs, to consolidate a top spot in the standings which for Perugia is the result of the excellent work done since the start of the season. Six important points, but which are not the objective on which to concentrate the focus, as explained by the Juventus captain, Simone Giannelli:
«Our objective is more the game than “the points”. Points are certainly always important, but I believe that we need to think more about our performances, as the coach told us, think about the game and try to get ready for the play offs, which will be a completely different story, so we want to improve in this period and take advantage of it.”
Preventive session in the gym this morning and technical-tactical training in the afternoon for the boys, who Captain Giannelli encourages to take a further step in terms of aggression: «It is necessary for everyone to take their responsibilities and go, because everyone can make a difference, so every set we will have to stay there, we must not suffer the opponents, the game and the score, we must always be aggressive!
