Countdown to the Final Four of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A3. On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February the spotlights will be on at the Palasport in Longarone, in the Belluno area, for the last act of the fourth edition of the category trophy which awards the tricolor cockade. The Semi-final draw includes two cross-matches in a single match between teams from the two groups.
For the first time, Romeo Sorrento, leaders of the Blue Group with a large number of fans in tow, and Belluno Volley, who tied the first of the class San Donà and the organizing club of the event, will compete in the championship. Having reached the Semi-final by overcoming Gioia del Colle in three sets and intending to redeem the elimination in the Round of 16 of their only participation (2021/22), the Campania team is fresh from the 3-1 championship success over Sabaudia. The Venetian team, avengers of Acqui Terme in the Quarterfinals, comes from the 3-1 corsair in San Giustino in the Regular Season and has spent time in the mixed A1/A2 Cup and in the A1 Cup in the 1980s, while participating for the second time in the A3 trophy after the exit from the scene in 2021/22 in the Round of 16 against Pineto. Among the Belluno players, a significant achievement for Gonzalo Martinez and Matteo Mozzato, in presence n. 100 in all Serie A competitions.
