Having put the week of European cups behind us, with Civitanova’s access to the Volleyball Challenge Cup Final, Trento’s leap into the Cev Cup Semi-final and the painful elimination of Milan at the photo finish of the Golden Set in the CEV Champions League Play Offs, all the spotlights are now focused on the last act of the SuperLega Credem Banca regular season.
Teams on the field on March 2nd. Thrilling final for the lead and for salvation in one of the most beautiful and uncertain SuperLega Credem Banca Regular Seasons ever. As per tradition, to guarantee the correctness of the final sprint, the first serve of the six matches on the calendar is set in unison, i.e. at 6.00 pm on Sunday.
The winner of the Regular Season will be determined by the long-distance challenge between two rivals on equal points, the winter champions Sir Susa Vim Perugia, on stage with DAZN live streaming on the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza pitch, vying to regain fourth place, and Itas Trentino, on the pitch in the city of the Saint against a Sonepar Padova team already safe and qualified for the 5th Place Play Offs, a match with VBTV exclusively. The fight to avoid relegation is reduced to two teams: in Brianza and on the Ionian side of Puglia we are preparing to know the final verdict of this regular season. Last resort with live broadcast on Rai Sport for bottom-ranked Mint Vero Volley Monza, which hosts Cisterna Volley, already certain of participating in the Scudetto Play Offs, but chasing seventh place. “After Hours” and “Palla Avvelenata”
“After Hours, the SuperLega at night” is the Sunday evening web program signed by Lega Pallavolo Serie A, hosted by Andrea Zorzi and Andrea Brogioni, now in its fifth season. Many guests from the world of volleyball, every Sunday from 9.30pm on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Facebook page and YouTube channel, gather a few hours after their championship commitments, discussing current events and telling about themselves, their history and their ambitions : an opportunity to get to know the protagonists of the SuperLega better. Third season instead for “Palla Poisoned”, midweek in-depth analysis of the SuperLega Credem Banca round that has just ended but already with a look at the upcoming one. Ball Poisoned airs on Tuesdays, with Andrea Zorzi and Andrea Brogioni called to the arduous task of containing the overwhelming irony of Leo Turrini. From this year, both programs are also available on Spotify, on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A channel.
