Fabio Ricci, middle blocker of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, was a guest on the twenty-sixth episode of After Hours – La SuperLega di notte, the talk show broadcast live every Sunday evening on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Lega Pallavolo Serie A, with Andrea Zorzi, Andrea Brogioni and the protagonists of Serie A Credem Banca.

Many times were touched upon during the broadcast that featured, among others, Aimone Alletti of Taranto and Mattia Boninfante of Lube Civitanova Marche.

The hat trick over Verona – Beyond all expectations. I wouldn’t have bet a cent that we would have won three games like this, even though I was aware that we could have advanced to the next round. We’re enjoying it, for a day or two.

From training to the match – We’re finally able to carry over to Sunday everything we do during the week: it was a bit of a problem as before and I hope it doesn’t happen again. We are training hard and well, then we can do better but at the end of the week we are all satisfied with the training and the work. And finally we are able to bring our game ideas back onto the field.

The change of pace – I definitely think we play better, I don’t want to blame Anastasi but I think we have a slightly more fluid game and we are definitely doing better in counterattack.

Heads down and work – They are among the first things Travica told us and that’s how it went, matching quantity and quality. We all got down to work to turn this end of the season around and not take yet another “kick between the legs” against Verona.
