Game 2 of the play out phase left a bitter taste in the mouth of the boys of The Begin. A game that started in the best way, well played by Ferrini and Compagni, who then suffered the comeback of the home team, who started a bit quietly but got back into the game thanks above all to their opposite Morelli.
Spiker David Umek analyzes the match: “Sunday we had confirmation that every match in the playout will be a battle. We started off on the right foot, but then during we were unable to be consistent, we stopped playing and suffered the opponent’s game. They were good at taking advantage of our blackouts and clung to their player in the best shape, who was opposite Morelli. We were unable to stop him, we struggled throughout the match and he finished with 34 points. In the last two sets we also felt the physical tiredness and at that point Campobasso had an easy life. On Saturday we will play a fundamental match at home, which we must win to stay in the top of the standings. We will face Castellana Grotte who on paper is the strongest team but in these matches each match is a story in itself and we will have to face it at our best and make the most of the friendly walls of the PalaPrometeo”.
The third match of the playout phase will be played on Saturday 29 March at PalaPrometeo at 8:30 p.m.; guest of The Begin, the Bcc Tecnobus Castellana Grotte.
