Emotions, surprises, entertainment and top-level volleyball: these are the ingredients of the two-day Del Monte® Coppa Italia staged at the Unipol Arena in Bologna over the weekend just ended. Four teams made up of champions of the highest level who, with their play, kept the fans present at the Palasport in suspense, while from all over the world the winning attacks, aces and blocks enthralled fans who tuned in from every country. Below are some technical and statistical curiosities about the Del Monte® Final Four.

Massimo Righi (President of the Serie A Volleyball League): “The 47th Del Monte® Coppa Italia was unquestionably a success and a sensational global advertisement for the SuperLega: we had very high expectations which were fully respected and even exceeded. It was first of all a record edition in terms of audience and takings, which ranks on the second step of the podium after the Rome edition of 2022/23. We had guests from all over the world, in particular I remember with pleasure the presence of the President of the CEV Roko Sikiric and some representatives of the Dubai Sports Council; we have issued almost 20 accreditations to foreign newspapers and blogs, as well as having sold tickets in around thirty countries outside Italy. In addition to the spectacular technical and physical level achieved in all 3 matches, we have repeatedly mentioned the unpredictability of the championship and the events, but this time we have surpassed ourselves: for the first time all the matches of the Italian Cup Final Four took place they ended in a tie-break.
