Francesco Giglio, assistant coach of Domotek Volley, talks about himself in view of the next match against Lecce. After a regenerating break and an intense week of training, the team is preparing to face a key match for the rankings. Giglio analyzes the situation, talks about the opponents and does not hide the emotion for the return to PalaCalafiore, with the novelty of the “Maxi-cube-Led” which promises to make the facility even more spectacular.

“The break was regenerating, but we worked intensely”, begins Giglio. “Now we are preparing for the match in Lecce, which will be very tough. It is a crucial moment for placings and calculations in the standings. We still have two matches, against Lecce and Ortona, and we want to try to climb positions. Scoring six points in these two matches would be ideal, but we know that nothing is taken for granted in this group.”

“There is no better placement than the other”, continues Giglio. “Having arrived in the top four is already a great result. We will have the first match of the first play-off round and, possibly, the final. Our objective is to do our best in these two matches and see where the ranking will take us. Gioia del Colle could lose a few points, and this would give us the chance to reach second place. But we have no illusions: every match is difficult in this championship.”
