Massimiliano Lopetrone commented enthusiastically on the Palacalafiore match, underlining the importance of the fans’ support and the team’s determination in overcoming a formidable opponent.
“It was a great party, perhaps the best audience of the year”, began Lopetrone, visibly excited. “And then there is our confirmation, because we demonstrated that we are ready and know how to react at every point. The public gave us a huge hand, tonight the arena was full and the energy could be felt on the pitch”.
The match, hard fought in the first two sets, saw Domotek Volley fight point for point against a very high level opponent. “We knew the greatness of our opponent, a complete and very strong team,” explained Lopetrone. “But we were good at reacting to every situation and being more decisive towards the end. That was exactly what we were missing in the last few games.”
