With less than a week to go until the highly anticipated Del Monte® Supercoppa A3 in Campania and with six teams already qualified for the Credem Banca A3 Play Off Semifinals after the second round of the Quarterfinals, only the two promotion play-off series remain open, in which the home field advantage was not lost. The first match is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 26 March (7:00 p.m.) in Marsicovetere, in the province of Potenza. The home team Rinascita Lagonegro is trying to get back ahead of Avimecc Modica, who is determined to fight hard. Having won by a wide margin in the first match, the Lucanians were unable to repeat their feat away from home and lost in the tie-break on their rivals’ field, effectively keeping the qualification debate between the fourth and fifth teams in the Blue Group in suspense, who would face Cus Cagliari in the Semifinals. Similar speech between JV Gioia del Colle and Sieco Service Ortona, respectively third and sixth classified in the Blue Group at the end of the regular season and facing each other tomorrow at PalaCapurso (at 8:30 pm) for the “bella”. PLAY OFF SERIE A3 CREDEM BANCA – THE FORMULA
The Serie A3 Credem Banca offers 2 promotions to Serie A2 Credem Banca assigned through the Play Offs. The teams from 1st to 8th place in each group (16 teams) participate, starting from the Quarter Finals between teams from the same Group. Semi-finals between teams from different groups follow, with fixed pairings. The teams that win the Finals will be promoted to Serie A2 Credem Banca 2025/26. The Quarter Finals and Semi-finals of the Play Offs are played with the best of three matches (Game 1 and Game 3 at the home of the best-ranked team in the Regular Season), the Finals with the best of five matches (Game 1, Game 3 and Game 5 at the home of the best-ranked team in the Regular Season).
