Consar is ready

Returning to winning ways to better face the final rush of the regular season, to make up for the defeat of the first leg, to not lose contact with the two teams that precede them and to reach a first certain goal: the mathematical certainty of playing in the playoffs. Consar has many good reasons to regain confidence with the victory in tomorrow afternoon’s match at Pala De Andrè (played at 6pm) against Abba Pineto for the 22nd day, ninth of the second round, of the A2 Credem Banca championship.
The Abruzzo team is currently eighth in the standings, first of those excluded from the playoffs, with 31 points, 13 behind Consar who are third. A success would make Valentini’s team unattainable for those in eighth place, when only 12 points would then be available.
“We continue to look at the rankings up to a certain point – confirms Consar assistant coach Saverio Di Lascio – while we focus more on what the team must continue to do to best face this final part of the championship. We come from two not positive results but the good performance in Brescia gave us comforting signs of growth compared to the match against Aversa and we worked during the week precisely on the basis of what last Sunday’s match offered us. We are determined to play a technical match against a tough and difficult opponent like Pineto.”
