With a match still to be recovered against Itas Trentino, the Pontini team aim to make up for the defeat suffered in the first round, in which the Marche team won in three sets.
Cucine Lube Civitanova, led by coach Medei, was able to fully exploit the potential of its roster, obtaining significant responses even from those players who found less space during the season. Among the protagonists stand out the young Iranian Khanzadeh, as well as the experts Dirlic and Orduna, who have repeatedly given a concrete contribution. The best scorer of the team is the opposite Adis Lagumdzija, with 198 points scored in 50 sets played, as well as excelling on serve with 24 aces.
