2025 CEV Cup once again in the foreground in the Trentino Itas calendar: on Wednesday 15 January in Brasov (Romania) the European Champion team will play the first leg of the Play Offs (round preceding the quarter-finals), facing the hosts home of the CSM Corona. Kick-off scheduled for 4.30pm Italian time at the Sports Hall “Dumitru Popescu Colibasi”: live on Radio Dolomiti.
HERE TRENTINO ITAS The calendar year 2025 continues in the name of challenging away games for the yellow-blues who, after those in Modena and Perugia, face the match at the home of the Romanian National Champions, diving back into international competitions and in particular in the CEV Cup, an event European competition which so far has seen them protagonists of two previous rounds (the round of 32 and the round of 16), brilliantly overcome by Galati and Benfica.
“We return to Romania aware that a match awaits us that is probably even more complicated than the one we had in this country two months ago against Galati – explained coach Fabio Soli -; Brasov is in fact the team that won the last local championship and has reached this stage of the scoreboard with a good path behind it, both in the competition and in the national tournament. The first match to be played away always hides many pitfalls, especially if you arrive after a long journey and fresh from the authentic battle of almost three hours that we had in Perugia. It will therefore be necessary to pay a lot of attention in the approach to the match, to try to immediately bring the contest onto the desired tracks which are those of quality and continuity of performance.”
