CUS Cagliari is looking for a feat. Tomorrow, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at PalaPirastu, Menicali and his teammates will take to the field for game 2 of the promotion playoff quarterfinals against Personal Time San Donà di Piave.
The rossoblù are starting again from last Saturday’s victory at the home of the regular season leaders.
“It will probably be the most important match of the season” admits coach Simeon, “we have put ourselves in a position to try to advance to the next round after last Saturday’s wonderful performance. We are very focused, attentive and motivated to try to pull off this upset” said the coach.
“We will face a very aggressive, angry team. We are playing against the top of the class and we must not make – and will not make – the mistake of thinking that it is done, that it is easy. To win tomorrow we will have to perform even better than Saturday. We are ready for battle and we are ready to try.
I expect a very large and warm crowd because it will be a big help for us. A seventh, an eighth man on the field. So I appeal to all the fans of Cagliari volleyball and CUS to come and support us: for us it would really be a big help and an important push for what would be a historic result” continues Simeon.
