After a top 2024, 2025 for Gabbiano Farmamed Mantova is not starting in the best way. The first match of the quarter-finals of the Del Monte Coppa Italia of the A3 series in fact smiles at the Personal Time San Donà, which wins by 3-1 and thus gains access to the Final Four of the competition, waiting to understand who will keep it company (the other three games tomorrow evening).
The match between two of the best teams of the last two years was decidedly intense, with the hosts victorious after almost two hours of play (25-23, 25-18, 21-25 and 25-19 scores).
Coach Simone Serafini deployed Depalma in the control room with Baldazzi as opposite, Miselli and Ferrari in the centre, Parolari and Pinali as a forward and libero Marini. During the match, Gola, Tauletta, Scaltriti, Catellani and Massafeli entered, the latter in the fourth set due to a slight physical problem suffered by Baldazzi.
The first set was very balanced with Gabbiano, who tried to comeback several times without succeeding. Second set without history and an uphill match for the biancazzurri who however reacted by winning the third and reopening the match. In the fourth set the fight was close, against a San Donà led by Baciocco and Giannotti.
