An away match to forget for coach Mattioli’s Gialloblu who lost to the hosts Belluno without ever managing to put their stamp on the match. Bellunesi square, tidy and effective as usual, but certainly helped by a Sarlux Sarroch with an upset structure after a particularly difficult week. Nothing changes in the path of Romoli and his teammates, who already have the coming week in their sights to start working again in view of the playoffs, despite the disappointment and bitterness of the trip to Veneto:
Thus coach Mattioli in the post match:
“It was definitely a bad match, we had a difficult week in the gym and we weren’t able to train as we would have liked. We arrived in Belluno without both free throws, Scarpi was ready by playing a good game but many balances were clearly broken. Dimitrov had only done one training session this week, others have some physical ailments that have not yet been fully recovered. Having said that, the expressed game, despite the extenuating circumstances and objective difficulties, was not sufficient. If for three weeks we have been told that we are playing well, it certainly shouldn’t be this setback, albeit bad, that interrupts our growth path. Now let’s recover and start training again in view of the goals we have set ourselves.”
