Holidays over for Avimecc Modica, which after three days of rest granted by coach Enzo Distefano and his staff in agreement with the management, returns to the “PalaRizza” today to start training in view of next Sunday’s big home match against league leaders Romeo Sorrento.

The Campanian sextet will arrive in the County city with the certainty of closing the regular season in first place in the Blue group of the A3 series championship and after having won the Italian Cup in the category last Sunday.

Sunday’s match at 4pm, therefore, will be a match in which the two teams will be able to play without the worry of the result, as the white and blues from Modica have also achieved early qualification for the promotion play-offs. Modica and Sorrento, therefore, will have general rehearsals in view of the play-offs before knowing the team that will challenge them for the promotion play-offs.

Furthermore, the match against league leaders Sorrento will be the last home test of the regular season for the “Galletti”, who in the next round will close the regular season on the Gioia del Colle pitch which currently occupies second position.
