Having archived the difficult but deserved home victory over Napoli, Avimecc Modica returns to the gym after two days of rest granted by coach Enzo Distefano.
The blue and whites dear to president Ezio Aprile, in fact, are already at work preparing for next Sunday’s very difficult away match on the Siecoservice Ortona field, vice leaders of the Blue group of the A3 series championship.
The success against the Neapolitan team was strongly desired by Capelli and his teammates who after winning the opening set in a photo finish lost the second set, but they did not lose heart and with a great team reaction they took home deservedly a full success that relaunched them in the rankings.
Now, however, it is time to focus on the away match in Ortona which, in addition to being demanding on a logistical level, will also be demanding on the pitch given that the Abruzzo team is among the most highly rated in the group.
Commenting on last Sunday’s success against Napoli before resuming training was Massimiliano Matani who scored 4 points.
“It was a difficult match against Napoli – explains the blue and white athlete – because they arrived in Modica motivated and they are a team that always fights. We started well, then after the break in the second set from the third set we found ourselves and fought as we know, we found our strength again and thanks to the whole team we managed to find full success.
