Virtus Aversa is preparing for a new battle in the men’s Serie A2 volleyball championship. On Sunday 9 February, at 6pm, the Norman team will be guests of Banca Macerata Fisiomed at the Banca Macerata Forum, in a fundamental match for both teams.
The challenge is presented by central defender Cristian Frumuselu, who underlines the importance of maintaining a high level of play to continue the positive path undertaken in recent weeks: “We are good between us and this is reflected on the pitch. We really play as a team and I think this is also evident from the outside. Now, however, the biggest challenge is to confirm ourselves. We won against Catania, Ravenna and in the first leg against Brescia, all teams built to aim for winning the championship, but the most important thing now is not to lower the level”.
Virtus Aversa’s objective is clear: to face every match like a final, without underestimating any opponent. “Macerata awaits us, a very good team that needs points to save themselves. For this reason, from now until the end of the regular season, they will all be finals. We must continue to play with the same intensity both against high-ranking teams like Ravenna, and against Macerata and any other opponent. The moment you let your guard down, it becomes difficult to recover.”
